Harajuku

Map

Harajuku is split by three main roads; one is the teen-centric Takeshita Road where “Gothic Lolita” and other eccentric fashion subcultures are born. Next is Meiji Road, a main arterial that stretches to Shibuya in the South and Shinjuku in the North and houses the world’s most popular fast-fashion chain stores.

The most innovative street-fashion shops convene along the backstreets in “Ura-Hara”. At the same time, on Omotesando and its promenades you’ll find the most fashion-forward and revered luxury boutiques lining its sides, and it also leads to Meiji-Jingu Shrine.
